9 to 5

my weeks seems to involve a lot of work and a lot of studying and a lot of running around 

i am going to these classes that teach you all about energy efficient building 

which result in me coming home at 10pm. oh yes, it's not that fun.

i will be visiting lisbon soon, so if you know any places that are not to miss, i would be happy to know.

cravings

last night i was invited by h&m to see their exclusive conscious collection, as well as their fashion against aids collection. what does this mean? i would like to purchase all the things pictured above. say hello to my sister. 

join me in the sun, will you?

i was staring at my computer screen when my boss walked in and told me all about this guy who was getting a sun tan in the garbage bin. so i took myself outside, and joined him in the sun. pretty bizarre, eh?

also on the bright side (the sun bathing is bright enough for me) i am officially starting my phd as of today.

which probably means a lot of studying and me transforming into a study freak and book worm.

i thank God, because this has been a dream of mine for a long time and now i can pursue it.

my sweet tooth

this is were i spent my sunny sunday morning. in ioanna's colorful kitchen and amazing house. this is what i learned this sunday. first: i am glad for all the talented people i have met through imatioθiki. second: it is actually possible for someone to absorb lots of sugar, so that their soul becomes as sweet. third: i promise from now on to go on antique hunting at the bazaar held downtown. ioanna's and costa's apartment is one of the most tasteful, well balanced design-wise and warm places i have ever visited. you will be able to enjoy the rest of it this week on imatioθiki. 

fallout

being sick and all my father decided to cheer me up by painting something for me. 

i showed him this picture by one of my favorite photographers, brian ferry. i think he did a pretty good job.

baking apprentice: new recipe

do you remember my food blog? well, when i moved ni.ko to blogger, i moved that too. i am slowly working on moving all the recipes here as well, but it will take time. 

anyways, since i am all chamomile with my illness right not, i decided to bake the thing and make something good out of all this feverish days i have been experiencing.

new slang

this is my version of the woman of 2012 for more than a woman exhibition. 

it is going to be a tough year for my country and i don't think any specific woman can represent the year that is ahead of us.

but what i think is this: the woman of 2012 is the daughter. 

the generation of younger women, our daughters, to whom we owe a world where they can feel secure, protected and free. 

but also the daughter that each and every woman is, and the heritage she carries within her from the previous generation of women.

no, this is not just about women. same goes for the guys.

i also loved all the other blogger's ideas, especially despina's.

almond tree

so far this weekend hasn't been treating me very well. apart from the fact that the flu is still having a party over my body and all i am consuming is warm water with lemon and honey - trust me it works, or maybe not, since i am still ill. 

oh, well. highlight of my day? my walk in my garden. i am in love with almond trees, have i told you? that's right. i think almond trees are the most hopeful thing on earth! even though its cold, and the weather lady says we should be expecting snow this week, the almond tree in my garden keeps reminding me that spring is around the corner. and it also decorates the ground with its petals. what more could a girl ask for? 

highlight number two is trying to convince my dad to draw a painting of some of my favorite picture. the one with the boats is one of the best paintings he's done. 

i know i am talking too much, but there's one more thing i would like to say. have you seen this blog? it's so nice. i don't know who owns it, but the pictures and the text and the logo that changes in every new post are so fresh and well worked. 

sunshine: my blossoms

these are two things that made me happy today. my thriving tomatoes, which are turning their torsos to get as much sun as possible and some blossoms on my trousers. other than that i am down with the flu, but still going to attend the blogger's united exhibition tonight. so, you are stuck with my indoor pictures. and me, if you decide to come and say hi.

more than a woman

this thursday i will have the honor of presenting my view of 2012's woman on an exhibition curated by ozon raw and shop, at ermou 112a.

desire

two completely different images, all experienced in one week. the weather has been crazy and my tomato seeds and i are craving for some sunlight. 

i spent last night tucked in bed watching drive. i know i am super late, but i have to say two things: i need ryan gosling's jacket and i need to find drive ost in my files, because i must have deleted it somehow. enough said.
