The parking areas of Dubai are somewhat fascinating. On one of the rearrest days this city has faced, this being a rainy day, I set out to DIFC just behind all the glossy facades, to take some pictures of the areas that I often find myself looking through the cab window.

taking the ferry instead of the metro

Having the family over for Christmas has been pure bliss and taking the ferry from Dubai Marina to the Creek proved to be much more interesting than I expected. Our trip ended with a wonderful light lunch at Creekside and some much needed sun bathing.
