like a field trip: bodytalk headquarters

i was invited by greek sports brand bodytalk to visit their headquarters and have a look at their new collection. and all i can say is wow! 

i truly felt like i am a school girl all over again and this is a field trip. as you already know i am a very curious person that can get very very annoying with asking too many questions.

so now i had dimitris, the company's product manager, eager to show me around and explain every little detail.

you see bodytalk is a respectful brand, because they believe in M and L and they kind of ignore all those S sizes. they believe in healthy body and healthy living and want nothing to do with skinny size 0.

they also have a huge team working for the company. the design team is five people, two of which are graphic designers. that's right. they have graphic designers designing fashion lines, because everyone can help and all creativity can be helpful.

they triple check each garment before it leaves the company. they sample a lot. they respect the clothes they make, curves on men and women, their staff, their customers and well you.

so yes, visiting bodytalk hq was loads of fun. you can see more here.

volos on wheels

despite the fact that i can't stop posting about it, well, everywhere, i think i have to say it once more: yesterday was a first for me. i got to be on the radio show of my dear friend fantasmenios. and i got to pick the music. all girls music that is.
and, of course, i was totally stressed about it, but then fantasmenios gave me three full glasses of tsipouro, which is this super strong drink (practically you are drinking pure alcohol) and then i loosened up a bit and talked like a normal person, and didn't scream on the mic.

the tsipouro that fantasmenios gave me was nothing compared to the one i drank in volos. which got me thinking about all the pictures i took while i was there. and i came up with these three. automobiles of volos. cute, huh?

you sucked me dry

life is moving too slow and too fast the last couple of weeks. and i am craving for some free time. but it's all good, since i am diving deep into the creativity i was missing. 
i feel sad i don't live in brussels. i would love to do a session with scarlett for imatioθiki. but i can listen to her song non stop and smile. it's really good.

i somehow got amazed by all the retro hotel signs and skyline volos had to offer.

i need the extra portion of sky. and a song to lift my spirits.

spent the weekend drinking tsipouro. eating large portions of sea food. walking around sunny volos.

and talking about my research. which sometimes makes me mad, sometimes makes me want to give up, and other times, like this weekend, makes me want to push my limits further and further.
