lisboa pt.5 : final randoms
i have endless pictures from beautiful lisboa, but i think part 5 ends this journey's posts for now. i am in desperate need of good sleep, time to just do absolutely nothing and a big cocktail by the beach. but what can you do?
i am also getting seriously addicted to printerest and downtown abbey. i wonder if there are any other tv series i shouldn't be missing. have a wonderful sunday.

lisboa pt.4 : aquarium
i am not a big fan of aquariums. my sister dragged me to watch all the fish and i think she took a million pictures of the shark on display.
but to my surprise there is a lot of fluo colors happening underwater.
and this is all i need to think about, since i am up to my neck with papers, and conferences and drawings and taxes and all.
but, this song makes me so happy every day - i am one of those people with disturbingly loud music played in their cars.
this sunday i will be posting the latest imatioθiki session. stay tuned.

yiota's pancakes
it is official. imatioθiki is making me fat. i am running around athens adding up on calories.
but yiota makes by far the best pancakes i have tasted in a long long time.
add to that costa's cranberry jam with ouzo and margarita's styling advice... and you just got yourself a wonderful sunday morning, lots of fun and a seriously good imatioθiki photo shoot. coming up this week...

lisboa pt.3 : facades
lisboa's facades were full of laundry. oh, did you think i was going to talk about the tiles? no, i figured we could observe something else instead.
and plants started to grow on the walls.
i have been reading kathryn stockett's the help the past few days. got it from the airport as i was travelling all tuesday long.
i can't seem to stop reading it. i know it's a motion picture and i can rent the thing, but i prefer to read it instead.
totally recommend it.
here is a happy tune for your weekend.

lisboa pt.2 : lx facory
on my last day in lisbon i visited the lx factory, which basically is an old factory turned into an uver creative space. you could find cute cafes next to architectural offices and craftsmen removing the paint of old doors next to really hype boutiques.
again, i need to comment on how friendly the portuguese are. as we were walking around the corridors a guy came out of his office for a smoke and he ended up showing us around his agency, figura de estilo, and posing for my blog. and look at his surf board! he says he doesn't have the time to surf so much any more.
another cool thing about the lx factory are the toilets. yes, that's right. they change the decoration every month as we were told. but just the ladies'. so this month it was book themed.

lisboa pt.1
i am in love with lisbon. and with the people i met there. i have never ever seen such friendly people. ever. i was lucky enough to spend about a week there, so bare with me, as for the next month i will be posting portuguese experiences!
here are some random pictures i took walking around the city and a very friendly barber. i walked by his shop and he was kind enough to pose for a picture or two.
i am also in love with fados. yes, i dragged my self to a typical fado house and listened to this amazing voice. please support her by liking her page. (i am also on the verge of getting my guitar back on my hands and re-gain my musical skills, but this is a whole different story).
i hope you had a wonderful and most of all, simple and true pasxa.

till we meet again
my friend nota is still in town, so we decided to make the best of the beautiful weather we've been getting
and visited emst's exhibitions μορφές της ζωής and frances stark. the latter was trully inspiring. i love printed letters and birds.
oh and we walked around the national garde. you have to visit the national garden in april. it's looking its best with all the greens and blossoms.
a beloved woman attending our church slipped into eternal life this week. i feel grateful to have met her and can clearly see how she affected my life. she was a true blessing to many and all i can say is i want to be the same.
have a wonderful weekend.
i will be enjoying the sun, my seriously grown tomatoes, and the company of miss irini tomorrow.
